P14 Other Project Events

YOU CAN COUNT ON US

Lithuanian team created a video about their experiences in Koprivnica, Croatia:

Students mentioned that durin the project improved English language skills, got more familiar to aconection of math, music and art, got to know how to use software to improve their maths and music skills, found friends in 5 different countries and still are in touch with their new friends. Also students completed the questionaire that was prepared by croatian team.

OPTICAL ILLUSIONS
- connecting Maths with using optical illusions and taking unusual photographs (playing with
perspective), choosing the best photo - creating a school contest and then choosing the best photo
among the winners from all schools



- creating an optical illusion




- cooperation with the Museum of illusion


- students who traveled to the exchange mobility in Croatia will write a short text about their
experiences and present the activities they participated in to their school MA(R)TH team

FIBONACCI SERIES AND THE GOLDEN RATIO
- students explore Fibonacci series in art - measuring the body
- creating presentations about Math and the golden ratio (students created pictures and presented vocally)
- studying the drawing "Vitruvian man"
- students draw or paint images using the golden ratio




- making a film about the 5 implemented mobilities to be shown during the final mobility in Croatia
(team Macedonia)

DO YOU KNOW BEETHOVEN?
- students carry out online research about the connection of Beethoven music and Maths


- students create a questionnaire for their peers based on what they have learned and analyse the results



- students who traveled to the exchange mobility in Macedonia will write a short text about their
experiences and present the activities they participated in to their school MA(R)TH team

Lithuanian team had an virtual mobility. Students shared their experiences verbaly in Erasmus+ students' team.

C5 - MACEDONIAN HEARTS BEAT IN 7/8 RHYTHM




During the mobility in N. Macedonia 2022.03.21-25 Lithuanian team participated virtualy. It was strongly impacted by the Russian-Ukraine war.
Virtual mobility programme was prepared by Violeta. A very exciting experience, students enjoyed so much and participated in all activities. Our experiences and completed activities below:

MA(R)TH HEART
- MA(R)TH saint Valentine’s day - students draw heart shapes using Geogebra software








- students explore examples of how different artists expressed their idea of love in music and art







- each school team will create a website or a blog with one of the topics "I LOVE MATH" / "I LOVE
ART" / "I LOVE MUSIC"

MATH AND THE ART OF EMBROIDERY
- students study the skill of local embroidery and mathematical shapes and curves



- interview or workshop with en embroiderer (studying symmetry in this form of art)
- students share the photos of riches of their cultural heritage
- games with thread




- online meetings will be held for teams to get to know each other better and to discuss the project

P9 Other Project Events

SYMMETRY IN SHAPES AND BEAT
- students study the symmetry of snow flakes and a pine tree and draw them using GeoGebra software.
Students analysed video all together and chose to draw pine tree or snowlfale. Most of them did a snowflake.





- students explore the meaning of rhythm and symmetry in music rhythms - they make a video
where they produce rhythmical patterns
Students virtually participated in virtual lesson that is called Common Rhythm Patterns You Need to Know






- students who traveled to the exchange mobility in Turkey will write a short text about their experiences and present the activities they participated in to their school MA(R)TH team.
